Fabian Dee Dammers (‘92) is a German guitarist, composer and producer, best known as the guitarist for Udo Dirkschneider’s U.D.O & DIRKSCHNEIDER.
Dee Dammers is a full-time member for Udo Dirkschneider´s U.D.O. & DIRKSCHNEIDER, touring all around the globe, from Jamaica, over Israel, all the way to Russia. On July 17th 2020, the first full-length album ´We Are One´ was released for which Dee composed songs and recorded guitars. The album entered the official german charts at position #8. In the same year, U.D.O. performed a very special show at the ancient Roman theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria which will be released on DVD, Blu-Ray and CD in March 2021. The setlists for ´Live in Bulgaria´ features a best of U.D.O., ACCEPT classics, as well as a song of Dee´s debut record. The band is currently working on the next studio album.
In March 2020, Dee released his debut album called ´Bubbly Joyride to Utopia´ and founded the ´Dee Dammers Band´, an instrumental trio featuring Fabian Michaelis (Sondaschule) on drums and Leon Dombrowski on bass. ´Gitarre und Bass´, a german trade Magazine, picked ´Bubbly Joyride to Utopia´ for their Record-Of-The-Month in May´20. Furthermore, they wrote ´[…] the musical ideas, sounds, compositions, arrangements and production are absolutely world class. When was the last time I was so impressed by a Satriani or Vai album[…]´.
Dee played the guitar for lots of bands, e.g. UK classic rock band ´The Treatment´, and toured with bands such as Aerosmith, Scorpions or Alter Bridge and performed at major festivals, like Soundwave (AU), Rock am Ring (GER) or Download (UK) and many more.
