There's no question about it. mid 60s Strats are some of the best guitars to come out of the Fender factory. The sale to CBS brought Leo and his team to optimum. This Fender Custom Shop 65 Strat in "Chocolate 3 Tone Sunburst" was ordered to commemorate these great guitars we love so much.

Andreas considers his 1965 to be one of the absolute best guitars he has ever owned or played, so we have a warm spot for these guitars in our heart. While the guitar sounds great with its original 65 Strat pickups, we strongly recommend installing our ST Real 65 set. We can already "hear" it in our heads. But that choice will be left to the new owner.
